Samsung has revealed One UI 7.1 through its Try Galaxy app, offering users a preview of upcoming features. This accidental listing confirms rumors about the x.1 iteration of One UI 7, which is expected to be released soon after the Galaxy S25 series launch.
What is Try Galaxy?
The Try Galaxy site explains that the app simulates One UI 7.1, giving users a glimpse of the software’s potential features. However, Samsung notes that the actual UX/UI on devices may differ from what is shown in the app. This is just a simulation, not the full experience.
Supported Platforms for Try Galaxy
Currently, Try Galaxy is supported on Samsung Internet, Chrome, and Safari for iPhone 8 and later models. The app lets you explore a preview of One UI 7.1, but you won’t access full device functionality.
How Does One UI 7.1 Compare to One UI 7.0?
I tested Try Galaxy and found it nearly identical to One UI 7.0. The app does not show major differences, which suggests that One UI 7.1 will come with more noticeable changes closer to the Galaxy S25 Edge release.
A Sneak Peek at Samsung’s Future Plans
Try Galaxy aims to attract users who haven’t switched to Samsung Galaxy devices yet. It provides a simulation of One UI and highlights key features. While it offers a good preview, it’s not a fully functional version of One UI 7.1. Instead, it serves as promotional material to encourage new users to explore Samsung’s software.
To check out One UI 7.1 in action, you can visit the official Try Galaxy link. Keep in mind that this is just a preview of the software updates Samsung will roll out in the future.
